Community Engagement and Health Initiative (COEHI), is a not for profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) registered under the NGO Act number 24 of 2002 with registration number 00NGO/R/0458. COEHI was founded in 2017 and registered in 2019 to operate from the grass root to national level.

COEHI was formed by a group of five youth from Kagera region whose vision is to have a healthy society free from all diseases and whose mission is to promote improvement of community health by creating long lasting solutions to diseases, poverty, hunger, and social injustice by mobilizing the power of community members, volunteers and generosity of any other party.

The organization runs its activities in Kagera region and has its brach office used as the headquarters in Karagwe district in Kagera region
